Heimo had a great visit out to Manunda School to see how they are progressing as an Eco-School.
Some of their recent achievements as an Eco-School include:
- creating a video to promote the recycling of toner cartridges. The winning class that brings the most in from home wins a pizza party!
- installation of recycling bins around the school
- daily litter patrol with two students going around the school to collect poppers and containers
- chickens who will be almost wholly fed using school food scraps!
