Keep Australia Beautiful has been running the Australian Tidy Towns Awards for almost fifty years as a means of encouraging, motivating and celebrating the sustainability achievements of rural and regional communities across Australia. In addition to recognising these achievements, the awards dinner offers representatives from across the country an opportunity to network and exchange ideas with others from community, industry and government sectors.

As winners of the 2019 National Sustainable Communities Awards, Santa Teresa (Ltyentye Apurte) has the privilege of hosting the National Awards for 2020. We’ll be down in Santa Teresa and Alice Springs for the 2020 Awards on the 13th and 14th of October 2020 (originally planned for 21 & 22 Apr).
