Developed as a resource to support local government and the community, the toolkit helps organisations establish and expand litter reduction and prevention programs through best practice frameworks and inspiring examples from Australia and overseas. This includes a local Northern Territory case study, looking at the excellent results achieved by the Dhimurru Rangers in 2014/15.
This toolkit further builds on the school litter education programs (Eco-School) http://www.eco-schools.org.au/ which Keep Australia Beautiful have delivered together with support from Wrigley over the last eight years throughout Northern Territory.
