The town of Galuwinku is doing looking very clean and tidy!  Congrats on the hard work and effort involved in keeping the town tidy and litter free. Galuwinku is taking part in the Territory Tidy Towns program, which is open to all communities in the NT.  Find out how you can get involved here.  

The small remote township and community of Finke (in MacDonnell Region of NT) is a very beautiful, clean and tidy desert town.  They are working hard towards the “Territory Tidy Towns” program. Great write up in the paper about Manunda Primary School in the NT that is an Eco School. They have a range of initiatives including recycling toner cartridges, auditing power usage and wastage and building a chicken coop out of recycled materials. Great work, keep it up! Proud residents of Areyonga flew “overseas” from the Northern Territory to Tasmania in May to attend the national Tidy Towns awards ceremony. Areyonga was recognised with commendations in four of the six judged categories. Despite Barmera in South Australia wining the overall Australian Tidy Town Award, the small remote community of Areyonga was highly commended
